Yamaha YFL472 Flute
The Yamaha YFL-472 is a high-quality intermediate flute designed to support progressing players with professional-grade features and a rich, expressive sound. Ideal for advancing students or intermediate performers, it combines Yamaha’s trusted craftsmanship with materials and mechanics that deliver exceptional tone, response, and playability.
Core Features & Tone Quality
-
Sterling Silver Headjoint, Body & Footjoint: The fully sterling silver construction (headjoint, body, and footjoint) produces a warm, resonant, and projecting tone that responds evenly across the instrument’s range.
-
Yamaha CY Headjoint: Specially designed to promote proper breath support and offer quick, even response with a characteristically warm and rich sound.
-
Open Ring (French) Keys with Pointed Arms: Ergonomic, French-style open holes and aesthetically refined pointed key arms enhance technique development and control.
-
Offset G & Split-E Mechanism: An offset G configuration and split-E mechanism improve comfort, ergonomic playability, and accuracy — especially in the higher register.
-
Ergonomic Design: Key placement and mechanics are finely balanced to support natural hand positions and ease of play for longer practice or performance sessions.
Included Accessories
Typical package includes a protective hard case with padded gig bag, cleaning rod and cloth, and a warranty, giving you everything needed to care for the flute and transport it safely.
