Structure:

Private lessons are held in five consecutive terms, over a total period of 48 weeks. Each term
is typically 10 weeks long. Lessons only cease for Public Holidays, and over the Christmas Holidays for
four weeks.

Payment:

We politely request that term fees are paid in full prior to the term’s commencement, and
that casual fees are paid at least one lesson in advance. Prolonged delay in payment may result in a
pause of lessons, and/or loss of your desired time and day.
Any cost incurred by Joondalup School of Music to recover owed monies will be at your expense.

Cancellation/Missed Lessons:

Please notify reception at least 24 hours prior to any absence in order to
qualify for a make-up lesson; otherwise, the lesson will be forfeited. Make up lessons must be taken within the same term.
Lessons continue during school holidays. To opt out, please notify reception one week in advance.
Two week’s notice is required in order to cease lessons. The final two lessons must be paid for, whether
attended or not.
