The Strymon Sunset Dual Overdrive is a versatile two-channel drive pedal that brings together six carefully modelled classic overdrive and boost circuits in one compact, highly flexible unit. Designed to cover everything from transparent “always-on” enhancement to thick saturated drive and near-fuzz intensity, Sunset is essentially two independent overdrives that can be stacked, routed, and shaped in multiple ways for maximum tonal flexibility.

At its core, Sunset is built around a hybrid architecture that combines an ultra-low-noise analog Class-A JFET input stage with precision DSP modelling. This allows it to capture the feel and dynamics of classic analog drive pedals while offering modern consistency, control, and routing options. Each channel is voiced differently, giving you access to a wide palette of tones ranging from vintage mid-push overdrives to tight boosts and high-gain saturation.

The pedal is designed around simplicity in use but depth in capability.
