A ceramic magnet and custom-wound design give the Machete its powerful, aggressive character, combining a fast attack with a tightly controlled low end. This makes it particularly effective for down-tuned 7-string guitars, where maintaining definition through heavy distortion is essential.

The pickup's focused upper-midrange helps riffs and individual notes cut through dense mixes, while its high output provides plenty of impact for high-gain amplifiers and effects.
