Based on the Alnico II Pro humbucker that Slash has relied on throughout his career, these pickups are designed to provide smooth highs, powerful mids, controlled lows and exceptional sustain.

The set features Alnico II magnets in both the neck and bridge positions, producing a naturally dynamic response with plenty of harmonic richness. Compared with higher-output ceramic or Alnico V designs, the Alnico II magnet provides a softer attack and greater touch sensitivity, allowing the pickups to respond beautifully to changes in playing dynamics.

This 4-conductor Short Ear (SE) version provides expanded wiring possibilities while accommodating compatible guitars with shorter pickup mounting ears. The distinctive Zebra bobbin appearance adds a classic rock aesthetic, making these pickups as visually striking as they are sonically capable.
