The Remo RE-0013-SS Emperor Renaissance Drumhead (13") is a professional 2-ply drumhead designed to produce a warm, dark, and controlled tone with a soft, responsive feel.

Built with two plies of 7.5-mil specially treated Renaissance film, it delivers enhanced durability while maintaining rich resonance and musical sensitivity. The subtly textured surface emphasizes mid and low-mid frequencies, making it especially well-suited for concert-style playing, brushes, mallets, and expressive stick work.

Key features include:

  • 2-ply 7.5-mil Renaissance film construction for strength and warmth
  • Warm, dark tonal character with controlled resonance
  • Soft, natural feel with excellent dynamic response
  • Enhanced mid and low-mid frequency focus from textured surface
  • Ideal for concert toms, snare, and expressive acoustic playing styles

Overall, it’s a great choice for drummers seeking a refined, vintage-style 13" head with warmth, control, and musical sensitivity.
