Description

The Remo BR-1320-00-SMT Ambassador Clear Bass Drum Head (20") is a professional pre-muffled bass drumhead designed to deliver a bright, open tone with controlled sustain, strong attack, and enhanced low-end clarity.

Built with a 1-ply 10-mil clear Mylar film, it features Sub Muffl® Technology (SMT)—an integrated dampening system that helps control overtones while preserving natural shell resonance. This design gives drummers a focused, mix-ready bass drum sound with both punch and depth, making it ideal for live and studio use.

Key features include:

  • 1-ply 10-mil clear film construction for open, resonant tone
  • Sub Muffl® Technology for built-in damping and overtone control
  • Balanced sound with controlled highs/mids and powerful low-end response
  • Enhanced attack with reduced need for external muffling
  • Ideal for versatile tuning and modern music styles in live or recording settings

Overall, it’s a great choice for drummers who want a 20" bass drum head that combines clarity, punch, and built-in tone control without losing natural resonance.
