Description

The Remo BR-1122-00-SMT Ambassador Coated Bass Drum Head (22") is a professional pre-muffled bass drumhead designed to deliver a warm, focused tone with controlled sustain and powerful low-end punch.

Built with a 1-ply 10-mil coated Mylar film, it features Sub Muffl® Technology, an integrated dampening system that helps reduce unwanted overtones while preserving natural shell resonance. This results in a balanced, mix-ready bass drum sound with added attack, clarity, and deep low frequencies, making it highly versatile for live and studio use.

Key features include:

  • 1-ply 10-mil coated film for warm, open tone and natural feel
  • Sub Muffl® Technology for built-in overtone control and damping
  • Enhanced low-end with focused attack and controlled sustain
  • Broad tuning range suitable for jazz, rock, and modern styles
  • Pre-muffled design reduces need for external damping

Overall, it’s a great choice for drummers who want a rich, powerful 22" bass drum sound that stays controlled, musical, and ready for any mix without extra muffling setup.
