Launchkey 37 works seamlessly with all major DAWs right out of the box, offering custom integration for Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason Studios, Reaper, FL Studio, and Ardour. Enjoy a hardware-driven workflow that gives you full control of transport functions, timeline navigation, mixing, EQ, clip launching, and instrument and effect parameters. When using Ableton Live’s Session View or Logic’s Live Loops, the 16 drum pads double as Launchpad-style clip launchers with RGB backlighting that syncs perfectly with what you see on-screen.

Launchkey 37’s creative features are built directly into the hardware, so they work the same way in your DAW, with hardware synths, or on mobile devices. Scale Modes now let you lock the keyboard to one of 30 scales, eliminating wrong notes, or map everything to just the white keys. Fixed Chord mode triggers full chords from a single key, and the new Chord Maps allow you to create emotive progressions using the pads. The updated arpeggiator gives you endless inspiration with easier ways to twist and mutate your sequences.

The 37-note synth-style keyboard is expressive and a joy to play. The patented, velocity-sensitive FSR drum pads with polyphonic aftertouch are perfect for finger drummers. Unlike standard pads, each one uses a unique radial sensor to enhance sensitivity and consistency, delivering tighter, more responsive performances. You can also set the pads to trigger chords or individual notes with polyphonic aftertouch.

Launchkey’s controls are fully customizable; simply use the free Components software in your browser to configure them to suit your workflow. Store up to four custom mappings for the pads and encoders, and easily recall them from the hardware to send your preferred notes, MIDI CCs, or program changes.

With Launchkey 37’s five-pin MIDI output, you can connect it directly to your hardware synthesizer without a DAW. Pair it with Components and custom mappings to take full control of your hardware functions directly from your keyboard. Launchkey is USB-powered and class-compliant, making it fully compatible with a wide range of iPhone and iPad music-making apps, including the free Novation Launchpad app.

Launchkey 37 comes with everything you need to start making music right away. It includes Ableton Live 12 Lite for recording and performing with up to eight tracks of MIDI or audio, plus a suite of instruments, effects, and creative tools—all optimized for Launchkey. You also get additional studio-grade effects and sounds from Novation and Focusrite.
