Description

MXR M87 Bass Compressor Effects Pedal

The MXR M87 Bass Compressor brings professional studio-quality compression to your pedalboard, delivering precise dynamic control while preserving the natural tone and low-end character of your bass. Featuring MXR's Constant Headroom Technology (CHT), the M87 provides clean, transparent compression with plenty of headroom, allowing your full playing dynamics to shine through until the signal reaches the compression threshold.

With a comprehensive set of controls including Input, Output, Attack, Release and Ratio, the M87 offers exceptional flexibility, from subtle peak limiting and smooth dynamic control to heavily compressed, punchy tones. Its selectable compression ratios make it easy to tailor the response to different playing styles, while the highly visible 10-segment LED gain-reduction meter provides real-time feedback, making it simple to monitor and fine-tune your compression settings.

Housed in a durable, lightweight aluminium enclosure approximately the size of an MXR Phase 90, the M87 is an excellent choice for bass players looking for reliable, studio-quality compression for both live performance and recording.
