Description

Unleash aggressive, vintage-inspired fuzz tones with the MXR M236 Super Badass Variac Fuzz. Built around a specially tuned vintage silicon fuzz circuit, this versatile pedal delivers everything from biting, saturated distortion to wild, sputtering fuzz tones with a distinctive character.

What sets the Super Badass Variac Fuzz apart is its innovative Variac control, allowing you to adjust the pedal's operating voltage from 5V to 15V. Dial the voltage down for compressed, sagging fuzz reminiscent of a dying battery, or increase it for greater headroom, clarity and a more open, transparent response.

With dedicated Gain, Tone and Output controls, shaping your ideal fuzz sound is simple and intuitive. Whether you're chasing gritty garage rock, classic psychedelic tones or experimental fuzz textures, the M236 offers plenty of tonal flexibility in a rugged, road-ready enclosure.
