Description

Medeli MZ528 Electronic Drum Set Perth

The Medeli MZ528 is a full-size electronic drum kit designed to offer a realistic and expressive playing experience for beginners, intermediate players, and home studio musicians. Featuring high-quality mesh pads, a powerful sound module, and comprehensive performance and practice tools, this kit bridges the gap between acoustic-feel playability and digital versatility, ideal for practice, jamming, live performance, or recording.

Drum Pads & Hardware

  • Full Mesh Head Pads: All drum pads use mesh heads for a natural acoustic-like rebound and quiet play, enhancing comfort during long practice sessions.
  • Dual-Zone Snare & Toms: Snare (10″) and three toms (8″) are dual-zone, allowing different sounds for head and rim hits, great for expressive playing.
  • Cymbals with Choke: 10″ hi-hat (continuous pedal), 10″ crash (choke), and 12″ ride (dual-zone + choke) deliver dynamic cymbal control.
  • Kick Pad & Hi-Hat Pedal: Includes a responsive 6″ kick pad and a continuous-type hi-hat pedal for fluid performance feel.
  • Expandable Setup: Additional inputs allow a fourth tom and second crash cymbal to be added as you grow your kit.

Sound Module & Musical Tools

  • Rich Sound Library: 408 built-in drum and percussion voices plus 11 hi-hat variants and 30 preset drum kits, with space for 10 user-created kits to customise your sound.
  • Polyphony: Up to 64-note polyphony ensures full, layered sound without dropped hits during intense play.
  • Play-Along Songs: 80 preset songs plus 5 user-recordable tracks make practice more fun and musical.
  • Learning Tools: Built-in coaching functions like Quiet Count, Beat Check, and Change Up help develop timing and rhythm skills.
  • Metronome: Adjustable metronome with tempo (30–280 bpm), time signature and interval selection keeps you on beat.

Connectivity & Integration

  • Recording & MIDI: USB-B (MIDI) and traditional MIDI Out allow you to connect to DAWs, virtual instruments or recording hardware.
  • Aux-In & Outputs: Headphone jack, AUX-in, and stereo output jacks (2 × 1/4″) support silent practice, play-along with external music, or connection to amps/PA systems.
  • Trigger Control: Adjustable trigger parameters like sensitivity, curve, crosstalk and retrigger cancel let you fine-tune response to your playing style.
  • App Support: Compatible with the MZ Buddy app on iOS/Android for easier sound browsing and editing.

Design & Build

  • Compact but Robust: The kit balances durability with a compact footprint (approx. 1165 × 600 × 1120 mm) and weighs about 22 kg, making it suitable for bedrooms, studios, or small performance spaces.
  • Easy Interface: An LCD display and intuitive controls make setup and adjustments straightforward, even for beginners.

Note: Typical electronic drum accessories like a drum throne, sticks, and headphones are usually sold separately.
