Description
The Line 6 Powercab CL 212 is a 200-watt active guitar speaker system designed to give amp modelers and effects processors a more authentic “amp-in-the-room” playing experience. Unlike FRFR systems, the CL 212 uses two traditional 12-inch guitar speakers in an open-back cabinet, delivering the familiar feel and natural response of a conventional guitar amp.
Key Features
- Dual 12-inch guitar speakers in a lightweight, open-back cabinet for spacious, natural projection.
- 200-watt power amplifier provides plenty of headroom for rehearsals, practice and live performance.
- Six Speaker Voicings let you shape the response to emulate the character of different classic guitar speakers.
- Power Amp In mode bypasses the Speaker Voicings, allowing the Powercab CL 212 to function like a straightforward powered guitar cabinet.
- 3-band Room EQ with Low, Mid and High controls makes it easy to compensate for the acoustics of different rooms.
- XLR/¼-inch combo input accommodates a range of modelers, pedals and other sources.
- XLR output with IR loading allows you to send a speaker-cabinet-simulated signal directly to a PA system, mixer or audio interface.
- MIDI connectivity enables external control of various functions.
- USB-B connection supports impulse-response loading, firmware updates and USB MIDI.
- Powercab CL IR Loader software makes managing speaker IRs straightforward.
