Key Features

Tonewood & Construction

• Sandblasted Ash Top over African Mahogany Body: Crafts a balanced tonal foundation — bright attack from the ash and warm, rich sustain from mahogany with striking visual grain textures under the Icebreaker Wave Flat finish.
• Atlas-5 5-Piece Panga Panga/Purpleheart Neck: Offers excellent stability, strength, and resonance thanks to KTS™ titanium reinforcement rods, while providing a fast, smooth playing feel across all 24 frets.
• Bound Panga Panga Fretboard with Abalone Oval Inlays: Adds a refined look and articulate response with medium frets and premium fret edge treatment for comfortable playing.

Electronics & Tone Shaping

• Nordstrand™ Big Break Passive Pickups (Neck & Bridge): Deliver a punchy, full-bodied tone with the clarity and definition typically associated with single-coil voice, but without hum — perfect for styles from funk and rock to jazz and fusion.
• Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-Band EQ: Offers flexible control of bass, mid, and treble frequencies so you can dial in subtle warmth or bold presence with ease.
• EQ Bypass Switch & 3-Way Mid Frequency Switch: Lets you switch into passive tone mode for a more traditional voice, or choose between three mid frequency ranges for expanded tonal possibilities.

Hardware & Components

• MR5S Bridge with Adjustable Saddles: Enables personalized string spacing (±1.5 mm) to suit your technique and playing style.
• Gotoh Machine Heads: Provide reliable and smooth tuning stability for extended practice, performance, or travel.
• GraphTech® BLACK TUSQ XL® Nut: Improves tuning consistency and enhances overall resonance across the extended range.
