Description

Ibanez RGD721FA WUF Electric Guitar - Stained Wine Red Burst

The Ibanez RGD721FA WUF is a high-performance 7-string electric guitar built to excel in modern rock and metal playing, combining speed, precision and powerful tone in one striking instrument. Designed with extended-range players in mind, it delivers the tight low-end response needed for down-tuned riffs while still offering effortless playability for fast leads, tapping and complex chord work — ideal for progressive, djent, and heavy styles.

At the core of this guitar is a Wizard II-7 5-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck that’s thin and fast, paired with a Macassar ebony fretboard for articulate attack, rich sustain and smooth playability across all 24 jumbo frets. The extended 26.5″ scale length adds extra string tension that keeps low tunings tight and defined without sacrificing the nimble feel that shredders love.

Tone comes from a pair of DiMarzio® Fusion Edge 7 humbuckers, voiced in collaboration with Ibanez for aggressive, punchy output with crisp highs and focused lows — perfect for high-gain sounds yet capable of clarity when tapped clean. The addition of a coil-tap switch expands your sonic palette, letting you switch between full humbucker thickness and more open, single-coil-like tones.

Built for performance, the RGD721FA features a Gibraltar Standard III-7 bridge for solid intonation and sustain, Gotoh MG-T locking tuners for reliable tuning stability and quick string changes, plus luminescent side dots for easy fretboard navigation on dark stages.

Finished in a rich Stained Wine Red Burst Flat, this guitar not only sounds fierce but looks the part too — a professional-grade instrument that blends playability, tone versatility and modern style for serious guitarists.
