The Guild M-240E Archback in Natural finish is a compact, concert-sized acoustic-electric guitar that pays homage to Guild’s iconic F-20 model from the 1960s folk era. Part of the Westerly Collection, it combines vintage aesthetics with modern playability, making it ideal for fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters, and musicians seeking a comfortable travel companion.

  • Tonewoods: Solid Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany sides and Guild’s signature arched mahogany back, delivering a well-balanced tone with warmth, clarity, and impressive projection.

  • Neck & Fingerboard: Mahogany neck with a vintage C-shaped profile, 24 3/4” scale length, and 1 11/16″ nut width, topped with a pau ferro fingerboard for smooth playability. 

  • Electronics: Equipped with Guild’s AP-1 active piezo pickup system, featuring discreet soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, providing a natural amplified tone suitable for live performances.

  • Hardware & Aesthetics: Bone nut and saddle, Indian rosewood bridge, pearloid rosette, tortoiseshell pickguard, and nickel-plated open-gear tuners, all finished in a satin polyurethane coating for a vintage look and feel.
