The Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS in Olympic Pearl combines the unmistakable look and feel of a classic Stratocaster with modern performance upgrades designed for today’s guitarist. Its alder body delivers the familiar Fender punch and resonance, while the sleek Olympic Pearl finish, 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and aged-white appointments give it a distinctive, premium appearance.

The fast and comfortable Modern “C” maple neck features a 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard, rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets for smooth bends, fluid lead playing and comfortable chording. A satin urethane finish on the back of the neck provides a smooth, effortless feel.

The versatile HSS pickup configuration combines a high-output Player II Modified humbucker at the bridge with Player II Noiseless Strat pickups in the neck and middle positions. The result is a broad tonal palette, ranging from articulate, powerful bridge tones to classic Strat chime and sparkle. A push-pull switch on Tone 2 splits the bridge humbucker, giving you authentic single-coil-style tones for even greater versatility. The master volume also incorporates a treble-bleed circuit to help retain clarity and high-end detail when rolling the volume back.
