Description

The Behringer SC16-O StageConnect Interface is a professional 16-channel analogue output interface designed to deliver high-quality audio from compatible digital mixing consoles and StageConnect systems to external audio equipment. Featuring 16 balanced XLR line outputs with premium ESS digital-to-analogue converters, the SC16-O provides clean, detailed audio for connecting power amplifiers, monitor systems, broadcast equipment, recording setups and additional mixing consoles.

Utilising Behringer's innovative StageConnect technology, the SC16-O transmits up to 32 channels of bidirectional 24-bit digital audio, control data and remote power over a single standard XLR cable. This significantly reduces cable runs and simplifies system installation, making it an excellent solution for professional live sound environments and permanent audio installations.

The SC16-O offers flexible system integration with the ability to operate as either a StageConnect Host or Client. In Host mode, it supplies word clock and remote power to the StageConnect bus, while Client mode allows synchronisation with an external clock source through StageConnect or Ultranet. Integrated Ultranet input and output connections provide seamless compatibility with personal monitoring and audio processing systems, while MIDI command transmission adds further flexibility for compatible Behringer equipment.

Housed in a durable 19-inch, 1U rack-mountable metal chassis, the Behringer SC16-O is an ideal solution for sound engineers and audio professionals looking for reliable, high-quality multi-channel analogue outputs with streamlined digital connectivity.
