Description

The Behringer 676 Classic Vacuum Tube Preamplifier is a professional-grade channel strip that combines vintage analog warmth with modern precision. Inspired by the legendary 6176 design, this unit integrates a tube preamplifier and a FET-style compressor, delivering rich harmonic content and dynamic control for vocals, instruments, and more.

Features:

Premium Tube Circuitry: Equipped with high-quality 12AX7/ECC83S and 12AT7/6072 vacuum tubes, the 676 offers a warm, rich sound characteristic of classic tube designs.

Custom Midas Transformers: The inclusion of custom-built Midas input and output transformers ensures superior audio performance and signal integrity.

Versatile Preamp Controls: The preamplifier section features adjustable input gain, impedance selection, polarity switch, and a 2-band shelving equalizer with switchable filters, allowing for precise tonal shaping.

FET-Style Compressor: The compressor offers ultra-fast attack times ranging from 20 to 800 microseconds and adjustable release times between 50 to 1100 milliseconds, providing effective dynamic control.

Independent Operation: With the Join/Split switch, users can operate the preamp and compressor sections independently or in tandem, offering flexibility in various recording scenarios.

Vintage-Style Metering: A classic analog meter displays both gain reduction and output levels, providing visual feedback during operation.

Rugged Rackmount Design: Housed in a sturdy 2U rackmount chassis, the 676 is built for durability, making it suitable for both studio and live environments.
