Introducing the star of the Bella Tono series: the SC56S Allure. The soundboard features stunning abalone for the rosette and purfling, and it’s bound in maple. The ebony fingerboard showcases an inlaid beach island scene with palm trees and birds in flight in exquisite abalone and turquoise. The Washburn Studio body design is incredibly comfortable, while maintaining the tight lows, focused mids, and clear highs associated with larger bodies. The solid Spruce top defines sonic nuances and features Washburn’s Comfort Arm Rest. It also comes equipped with a Barcus Berry LX4 pickup  system, perfect for live performances and studio recordings.

The Design Team at Washburn wanted to build an instrument with appointments of elegant design and taste, combined with premium sound and exceptional comfort of playability. Each Bella Tono model features Washburn?s Studio body shape. This shape was carefully designed specifically to retain the best attributes of a full-sized body, while delivering the best attributes of a smaller body. Petite in dimension, these bodies deliver a rich and full voice with clarity and projection while retaining the tight focus of a smaller body. This refined body is matched up with a comfortable, modern neck profile and a long list of visually striking upgrades resulting in a collection of guitars that you will love.

The Washburn Studio body design makes for an incredibly comfortable playing experience while managing to maintain the tight lows, focused mids and clear highs commonly associated with larger body sizes. The solid Spruce top helps define sonic nuances throughout the entire register of the instrument and showcases Washburn’s Comfort Arm Rest. Its full 25.5″ scale length extends an undeniable familiarity to the player and the satin finished, modern “C” profile of the Mahogany neck is smooth and cozy feeling in the hands. For live performance or in the studio, it comes equipped with a Barcus Berry LX4 pickup system.
